Most tuition centres collect fees the same way: a register or a spreadsheet, a date circled on the calendar, and a round of calls and WhatsApp messages in the first week of the month. It works until the centre grows past forty or fifty students, at which point the person doing the chasing is also the person teaching, and the overdue list is whatever they managed to remember. Tvarly's fee reminder software replaces that routine with a schedule the system keeps for you.
Every student is enrolled on a fee plan: monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, one-time, or billed per class for students who come irregularly. Before each due date the fee is created automatically. From then on a daily run sends the right message for where the fee stands, on WhatsApp and by email, using templates you write in your own words and your own language. When the parent pays, through the link in the message or in cash at the desk, the reminders stop and a receipt PDF is issued.

Set the plan once
Pick a fee plan for each course or batch and enrol the student on it. A monthly plan creates the next cycle ahead of its due date without anyone raising an invoice.

Reminders go out on their own
A daily run checks every open fee and sends the message that fits its stage: fee sent, due tomorrow, due today, overdue, and a thank-you when it is paid. Five templates, all editable.

Parents pay from the message
The reminder links to the student portal on your own domain, where the parent sees the amount and pays through Razorpay, Cashfree or Stripe. Cash and bank transfers are recorded by hand against the same fee.

A paid fee issues a numbered receipt PDF, shows up in the collected total, and stops reminding. Refunds are recorded against the original payment so the month still adds up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I write the reminder in my own words?
Yes. There are five templates, for fee sent, due tomorrow, due today, overdue and paid, and each is free text you can rewrite in Tamil, Hindi, English or any language you type.
What if a parent pays in cash?
Record the payment against the fee at the desk. The reminder stops, the receipt is numbered and issued the same way, and the fee shows as collected in the totals.
Can an overdue fee stop a student joining class?
For classes held in a Tvarly video room, yes: the join link can be gated until the overdue fee is paid. For in-person classes the overdue status is visible on the roster, and the decision stays with you.
Does it handle students who only come for some classes?
Yes. Per-class billing, prepaid or postpaid, bills from the classes the student actually attended, with a line for each class and a credit for any class that was cancelled or moved.
